Inspired by the Manchester music scene. A plectrum guaranteed to make your eyes go funny. This trippy little beauty pays homage to the legendary Hacienda nightclub, founded by Factory records located in the heart of Manchester. The Hacienda hosted the likes of Madonna, New Order, Happy Mondays, The Smiths, The Stone Roses, The Fall and more. It was also central to the rise of acid house and rave culture.
Fun fact.. Liam and Noel Gallagher marked the release of their debut album Definitely Maybe with a show at the Hacienda on the 5th of September, 1994. It was their only performance there because they preferred The Boardwalk. Interesting stuff.
Not to be pick sides, another fun fact.. Blur promoted the release of their debut single She's so high at The Hacienda on the 12th of November 1990.
The club closed in 1997, was demolished and made into a block of flats but the memories of Madchester live on..
