One of several close up shots I have taken of The Abstract State painting. I see a landscape with a large body of water extending into multiple streams with scattered islands, paired with painted warm clouds, almost like what you would see from an airplane window if you was on acid.. But maybe, just maybe I've been staring at it for too long and really it's just a million blobs of sporadic colour. I really do love the clash of neon graffiti vibes at the top going into the traditional painterly palette at the bottom.. The way fragments of light are bouncing off the specs of glitter..
