A New York City canvas that has been reworked with acrylic inks and acrylic paint that appears multidimensional due to it's subtly textured nature. This painting can't be hung a 'right' way up, how it's chosen to be displayed is versatile in nature and down to personal preference. Horizontally you can see a yellow taxi cab surrounded by streaks of bold contrasting colours. A clash of pastel and neon colour palettes. Vertically, you can see what appears to be mountains and a pink sky accompanied by tiny tents. In a way, it's as if Niagara falls has swallowed the entirety of New York in waves of colour. I love all of the hidden details in this piece when you get up close and personal with it.
