I have always been fascinated by the concept of time. When I was a kid I felt like I had all of the time in the world and as I grew older I came to learn that regardless of how much time I have or don't have left, what I choose to do with my time is all I truly have control over. Time is a double edged sword in many ways, both a gift denied to many and a curse when perceived like quicksand slipping through your fingers. Time can be a thief but it's the thread that universally connects us all together as we cross paths with one another, often by pure chance. In many instances those fleeting moments become the most precious moments of all. We all perceive time so differently and usually it takes a lot of time to go by before you can really grasp the concept that without it, we would value nothing. Many of us only know the true value of the present moment once it has become a distant memory. We are all tested during our time here, some harsher than others. Irrespective of age, how we choose to interact with the world around us has a ricochet effect on everyone that we form connections with and this is defined as a reflection of our willingness to be selfless because it's within the process of showing up for others that we truly show up for ourselves.
I was thinking about all of this very deeply at 3am in the morning while listening to Pink floyd and so this t-shirt was born.
